I was born in a small town in southern China in 1969. Under the influence of my father, I began to draw and paint at an early age.

I was educated and work as an engineer, but I am seriously pursuing proficiency in fine art. Science and art give me the two main perspectives that comprise my world view, and I find they are complimentary to each other in many aspects.

Good artwork comes from life, but adds a new dimension because of the creativity and ideology infused by the artist. My intention in creating art is to evoke positive emotion in the viewer. By depicting beautiful things or touching moments, artwork can bring pleasant memories as well as a present sense of well being.
